A catch-all email mailbox receives emails sent to nonexistent email addresses under the same domain name. For example, an email sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can receive messages from buddies or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an outdated one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Only one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. The latter is due to the fact that at some point you may begin receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

The Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section comes with quite a few features, but it is astonishingly user-friendly, so creating a catch-all mailbox requires only a single click of the mouse. All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be enumerated in this section alphabetically and you’ll only need to click the "Catch-all" button pertaining to the particular email address. Our system will warn you if there’s already another catch-all mailbox activated for that domain or if the one that you want to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either turn off the latter feature or select some other mailbox. Disabling the catch-all feature is just as simple and takes one more mouse click on the very same button.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all feature can be activated without any difficulty if you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you have created with the domains hosted in the account will be shown in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will see a mini logo handily situated right next to each of them. With only a single click, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your preference as long as there isn't another mailbox under that same domain name with this option already enabled and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on an email address and activate this option using the context menu that will pop up. In case any of the prerequisites for configuring a catch-all mailbox is not matched, our system will warn you, but will not replace or disable anything automatically.
